You Are A Blessing

Happy Thursday, friends!! Brenda back with a card to celebrate the autumn season during Fall Fun Week!! I had so much fun going through my stash and pulling out different fall products to work with!!

To start, I stamped the image from the Pumpkin Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring it with Copic markers, I added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

The background was created with the Fabulous Foliage Stamp & Stencil Set. The Fabulous Foliage Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. I chose Distress Inks that matched the pumpkin image and blended the Fabulous Foliage Stencils onto the panel using Shading Sidekick Brushes. I used Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Die Set A and splattered with gold watercolor paint. An A2 panel of orange cardstock was die cut with the largest die in the same die set.

The sentiment was created with the Simply Sentimental: You Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. The top layer of “you” was cut once from matte gold cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from heavyweight white cardstock two times. The rest of the sentiment was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock and cut out with the banner included in the Simply Sentimental: You Die Set.

I also die-cut the second largest and the third largest dies in the Dainty Scallop Circle Die Set from vellum and white cardstock, respectively.

The two rectangle dies were adhered together and the scalloped circles were adhered, all with liquid glue. The pumpkin image was popped up in the middle of the circle with foam tape.

The die-cut sentiment layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the background. The sentiment banner was popped up with foam tape. Satin Gold Baubles were sprinkled on to complete the card.

The colors of fall are just so beautiful!!
