Witching You Weren’t So Far Away

Hello, Trinity friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a fun card that combines lots of goodies from the latest release!!

I began by stamping the adorable witch from the Hocus Pocus Gnomes Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. It was colored with Copic markers and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I added highlights with a white gel pen. The sentiment, also from the Hocus Pocus Gnomes Stamps, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with its Coordinating Die.

Next, I die-cut the moon from white cardstock using the Full Moon Coordinating Die. I added Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks onto the moon with a Blending Buddy Brush. The Full Moon Stencil was used to add the details using another Blending Buddy with Lost Shadow and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Inks.

I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks onto an A2 panel of white cardstock, also using Blending Buddies. The center will be covered by the moon, so I avoided that area. The panel was splattered with diluted white ink, then set aside to dry.

The A-2 Tree Frame Die was cut from black cardstock.

The moon was adhered to the ink blended panel and the tree frame was adhered over it with liquid glue.

The witch and sentiment were both popped up with foam adhesive.

At this point, I decided I needed a few bats, so I used the Full Moon Die Set to cut three of the small ones out of black cardstock and adhered them with liquid glue. I added eyes with a white gel pen, then colored over them with a green Copic marker, once the ink was dry.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I’ll see you next Thursday!!

Brenda
