Winters night sky

Hello Trinity Tribe!  This is Shanna here today with a card featuring the timeless Season’s Greetings stamp set and Trinity Stamps new Blending Buddies!

I have been hooked here lately on ink blending night skies. There is something so peaceful about a starry night sky. *sigh*  I love trying out different colors.  The Blending buddy brushes make is a breeze! They blend beautifully and they STAND UP!  I love the fact that I can set them upright on my desk and they don’t fall over! I have ruined many projects before by setting my blending tool down on a project on accident and having ink transfer to spots I didn’t want it.  No more!

I used chipped sapphire, stormy sky, and broken china oxide inks for this sky. I spritzed it lightly with water for some added texture.  After it was dry, I stamped the tree silhouettes in Versa Clair Nocturne Ink, including some 2nd generation stamping as well. The hills were hand cut and lightly inked across the top using the leftover ink on the Blending Buddy from my sky! The deer, snowflakes, and moon from Seasons Greetings were stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with platinum embossing powder.

My final touch for the card was a splattering of watered down silver paint for some shimmery snow fall.

Trinity is gearing up for a FABULOUS fall release, and there are some fun things planned. Be sure to check out the links below to keep informed and up to date!
