Winter Wishes – Frost Bite Cafe

Happy Thursday, crafters and card makers!! Brenda here with a holiday card combining a few goodies from the most recent release!!

I started by stamping the darling images from the Frost Bite Cafe Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copics, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

Next, I used dies from the Embossed Edge Hills & Slopes Die Set to die-cut the snow banks from white cardstock. I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the top edges with a Blending Buddy Brush.

I blended Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Villainous Potion and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks onto the top of an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock with Blending Buddy Brushes. I splattered it with diluted white paint and a paint brush.

The two snow banks were adhered to the background panel with liquid glue. I figured out placement of my die-cuts and added some shading to the snow with Copic markers. The igloo and top penguin were adhered with liquid glue. The bottom two penguins were popped up with adhesive foam strips.

The sentiment, from the Cocoa the Gnome Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and cut out with its Coordinating Die. It was also popped up with adhesive foam strips.

A white gel pen was used to add highlights and snow to the die-cuts. Small snowflakes from the Vanilla Sugar Snowflakes Embellishment Mix added to the sky complete the card.

Aren’t these little penguins just the cutest?!?

That’ll do it for me!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you next week!!

Brenda
