Wildflower Garden Card for Mom
Hello, crafters!! I hope this finds you all well!! Brenda here with a card featuring the Wildflower Garden Stamp Set from the latest release!! This would be perfect for Mother’s Day or anytime you want to show your mom some love!!
I started by stamping the stunning floral image from the Wildflower Garden Stamp onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copics, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I blended Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock using one of the stencils from the Catching Some Rays Stencil and a Blending Buddy Brush. It was die-cut with the fourth largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set. I added Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink onto the bottom of the panel with a Blending Buddy. The scalloped rectangle die from the A2 Envelope Builder Die Set was cut from blue cardstock and adhered to an A2 top-folding card base. The ink-blended panel and floral die-cut were adhered with liquid glue.
I used the Simply Sentimental: Mom Die Set to cut “mom” from pink and white cardstock. I adhered the layers together and added it toward the top of the card with foam adhesive strips. The sub-sentiment, from the Wildflower Garden Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive strips. The bees were also adhered with foam strips. I added some dots to the centers of some of the flowers with a yellow gel pen to finish it off.
I love the variety of flowers in this beautiful set!! It’s so much fun to color!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you next week!!
