UFO Circle-Shaped Birthday Card
Hello, crafters!! Brenda back with a fun circle-shaped birthday card featuring the UFO Hello Die Set!! I’m having so much fun working my way through the latest HUGE outer space themed release!!
I started by die-cutting my card base from heavyweight white cardstock using the Circle Shaped Card Base Die Set.
Next, I die-cut all the pieces for my spaceship and alien from dark gray, light gray, black, green, frosted silver, holographic silver, metallic red, metallic blue and glossy black cardstock using the UFO Hello Die Set.
I added a bit of shading to the alien using Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink and a Blending Buddy Brush.
All the facial features were adhered with liquid glue and the alien’s head was popped up with foam tape.
The sentiment is from the We’ve Come For Cake Stamp Set. It was stamped inside the card with green dye ink.
The card base was folded along the score line and reinforced with a teflon folding tool.
At this point, all I had to do was adhere everything to the front of the card base.
I love the metallic cardstock for the lights on the spaceship!! I did add some Transparent Sparkle Enamel Dots over the metallic paper to give the lights a “domed” effect and used a white gel pen to add highlights to the alien.
