Strawberry Hugs

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here with you today with a strawberry card.

I started creating a pattern on a white panel with the “Sprinkled Border” stencil. I used squeezed spun sugar, warn lipstick, picked raspberry and festive berries Distress Oxide inks.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water and white and gold acrylic paints.

Once dry I added a textured layer applying some snowfall Distress grit paste mixed with some drops of spun sugar Distress reinker.

I then die cut a mason jar with the  “Half Pint Jar” coordinating dies and I blended it with kitsch flamingo and lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide inks. I also die cut a lid and I colored it using the “Half Pint Jar” stencil and salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Oxide inks.

I stamped two of the adorable bunnies from the “Dust Bunnies” stamp set and some strawberries from the “Carton Companion” stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies (here and here).

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added the sentiment that I made using the “Carton Companion” stamp set and the “Simply Sentimental: Hugs” die set.

That’s all! I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Thank you so much for kick off this new week with us.

Have a great Monday. Big hugs, Silvia.
