Treetops & Trimmings Holiday Release – Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello, friends and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the Treetops & Trimmings Holiday Release!! The new release will be available for purchase on Wednesday, October 13th!! There is also a fun and inspiring Instagram hop planned for release day!! I have a couple of new goodies to show you today!! Let’s get started!

I started by blending Twisted Citron Distress Ink onto a panel of white cardstock using the fantastic Ribbon Wrapped Tree Stencil Set and a Blending Buddy Brush. I just love the 3-dimensional effect you get with these stencils!! I fussy cut around the tree.

Next, I foiled the foiling plate from the Big Joy Cut & Foil Die Set onto white cardstock using Moondust foil and the Glimmer machine. I cut the foiled “joy” out with the smaller die and cut the bottom layer from vellum.

The All Spruced Up Slimline Stamp was heat embossed onto white cardstock with Wow! Lime Rickey embossing powder. (It’s difficult to see in the photos, but this embossing powder has blue iridescent sparkles in it.) I die-cut the panel with the smallest die in the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set. I also die-cut a scalloped panel from aqua cardstock using the largest die in the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set.

The slimline die-cuts were adhered to a white 8.5″ x 3.5″ slimline card base and the ribbon tree was popped up with foam adhesive.

The “joy” die-cut was adhered over the tree. A few Extravagant Emerald Rhinestones were added to the tree for a little more sparkle and bling!

The iridescent touches in the rhinestones, foil and embossing powder really pull this card together!!

Be sure to stay tuned for lots more sneak peeks in the coming days!! Such a fabulous release!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Brenda
