Think Pink with Trinity!

Hello Trinity Tribe!!  This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness today, sharing a fun PINK card in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.  This cause runs true to a lot of us….I spend a lot of this month thinking about my Gram whom I lost to cancer almost 20 years ago, so this is for her!

I love using stamps in unexpected ways, and the succulents went PINK soooo good!  Succulent Banner is the perfect set for darn near any occasion, and it is so fun to color.  It also mixes well with any of the other Trinity succulent sets, just saying!  I watercolored the banner with my Zigs, mainly focusing on pinks, with hints of green for depth.  Then I die cut it out with the matching die.  I set it aside, and then worked on my background.

I used the Catching Some Rays layering stencil with Worn Lipstick distress oxide for the wide rays, and then I used texture paste for the skinny rays.  After I let the paste dry, I didn’t quite like how white it was, so I put the stencil back over it, lining it up the same, and used it as a mask to drag a gold ink cube across to give it some sparkle. Perfect!!

I added a quick sentiment from my stash onto the banner to tie in with my theme, and then popped the banner up on foam take in the center of my background.  Lastly I mounted the card to a pink card base, and I was done!!!

That wraps up todays post!!  See you all again soon, look for me on Facebook and Instagram and you might see me LIVE again soon!!
