The Sweetest Candy Jar

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using a couple of Trinity Stamps stamp sets. I just realized I haven’t had a chance to use the Candy Jar stamp set yet and it’s such a fun set. 

Usually when I play with a new set, my go to is creating a scene card. I decided to stamp out the main candy jar. This already has candy in the jar, but I decided to mask it off and add all the different kinds of candy, which are included in the set, in the jar. 

This jar is so large that it takes up a majority of the card so I set it on the left hand side knowing that I’ll need room to add a sentiment on the right hand side. For the sentiment, the perfect one is the Sweet Senti-mini. I love how you can build a custom sentiment since there’s so many options. 

My scene cards are normally quite simple. I used a few lines to create a table for the jar to sit on. I wanted to create a wall in the room by using two lines for baseboard. It gives the entire background some dimension and a little bit more interest. 

To finish off the card, I wanted to add some embellishments and the Rainbow Rhinestone Embellishment Mix was perfect since it coordinated with all the different candies in the jar. This card is such a perfect one for any birthday!
