Thanks for your kindness

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here today and for this post I made a thanks card inspired by a Nichol Spohr’s one.

I started cutting a panel with the biggest die from the “A2 Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” set. I then used the new “Simple Daisy Bunch” stencil to ink blend some beautiful sunflowers in the middle of it.

For the flowers I blended squeeze lemonade, fossilized amber and wild honey Distress Oxide inks and for the leaves I blended mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks.

I darkened edges with rusty hinge and walnut stain Distress Oxide inks and I splattered flickering candle and crooked broomstick Distress Mica Stains over the whole panel.

To make the centers of the sunflower I applied some Distress Crackle paste, I covered with vintage photo Distress embossing glaze and I heat embossed them when dry.

I stamped a sentiment from the “Simply Sentimental-Thanks” stamp set in dark brown and I heat embossed it with Nuvo hot chocolate embossing powder.

I added a brown clay heart from the “Coffee Bean Heart Sprinkle” mix under the sentiment, a golden touch on the edges with some statue Distress foundry wax and that’s all.

Thank you so much for passing by.

I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
