Tanks So Much
Happy Thursday, Trinity friends!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda back today with a thank you card combining several die sets from the latest July release!!

I began by die-cutting the fish from the Tiny Tropical Fish Die Set and the castle and seaweed from the Tiny Aquarium Elements Die Set from orange, yellow, green, blue, pinkish-purple, gray and black cardstock. I added a bit of shading with Distress Inks and Shading Sidekick Brushes, then adhered each individual element together with liquid glue. I used a black glaze pen to add in the eyes instead of the cardstock ones included in the die set.

For the background, I blended Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and a bit of Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks onto an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock with a Blending Buddy Brush. I splattered it with water and picked up with excess with a paper towel, then splattered it with diluted white bleed-proof ink. I blended Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink onto another panel of Bristol smooth cardstock, also using a Blending Buddy. I splattered it with diluted Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and white bleed-proof ink. Once it was dry, I tore the top edge of the panel and blended a bit more ink onto it to cover the white core of the cardstock.

The sentiment was created with the Starring Sentiment: Tanks So Much Die Set. I blended Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink onto the bottom of a panel of yellow cardstock with a Blending Buddy. Once the ink was dry, the top layer of the die set was cut from the panel and a piece of blue cardstock and the shadow layer was cut from white cardstock. They were adhered together with liquid glue, then I added a dot to the eye of the fish with a black glaze pen.

The background panel and the “sand” panel were both die-cut with the second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Rectangle Die Set A and adhered to a white top-folding card base.

The fish and aquarium elements were arranged and adhered, also using liquid glue.

The sentiment was popped up with foam squares. I added lots of Bubble Bath Flat Back Baubles for bubbles and highlights with a white gel pen to the sentiment and die-cuts to finish off the card.

That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
