Sweetheart Love & Happy Thoughts

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with another card. I had this idea in my head for awhile and especially after my recent New York trip where I saw a ton of art on buildings and a bunch of instagram bloggers. I couldn’t help myself but create another scene card.

I started out using the little girl from the Seasonal Sweetheart stamp set. Since it’s still winter and chilly where I live, I wanted to dress her up in the beanie and also put a coffee cup in her hand. I did a bit of masking to accomplish this.

I drew a little sidewalk at the bottom of this card panel using a ruler and a pen. For the background, I wanted her posing in front of street art. I used two of the newer stamp sets: Love & Happy Thoughts and Better Place. I stamped these out right behind her by masking her off.

I colored up the entire scene and I just love how this turned out. How many of you find street art and love snapping a photo of it? I especially adore messages that put out a positive message into the world, don’t you?
