Succulent Sparkle: One Stamp, Three Ways with Designer Emily M!

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday! I’m so excited that you are here joining me for this week’s One Stamp, Three Ways because today I’m sharing a little sneak peek of a new stamp that is releasing on June 27th! If you love succulent and gemstone images just as much as I do, you are going to LOVE the Succulent Sparkle stamp set.

For my first two projects, I leveraged a similar color scheme and kept it true to my clean and simple with a little pop of color/bling.

To create the “You Rock” card, I stamped all of the crystals with a Copic Safe ink and then colored the crystals in pink and purple Copics (RV000, RV00, RV10, BV000, BV00, V000, B0000–for shading with the purples). Then I added some Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops for some extra sparkle. After adding the sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, I added more sparkle and shine with Itty Bitty White Stars and Fairy Rocks Rhinestone embellishments.

To create the little “Thank You” card, I stamped around the bottom right corner of the card with Copic safe ink. Then I lightly colored the succulents with Copic Markers (BG10/11/32/34 and G000/000, YG41 and V00, V12). After stamping the “Thank You” sentiment, I added the pretty Fairy Rocks Rhinestone embellishments for extra sparkle. I love these little cards (4×4), they are super easy to make and I end up using them all the time for small gifts and notes to friends, family and co-workers.

The next card is what I like to refer to as my “Jem and the Holograms” card. Might be the 80’s glam washi belt on the bottom of the card, maybe the “hot” pink, blue and purple gems…either way I love how it turned out. I stamped the gems in VersaFine Clair Ink in Charming Pink, Warm Breeze and Purple Violet. Then I sprinkled on some Holographic embossing powder (maybe another reason for the inspiration) to the stamped images and heat embossed for some extra sparkle and shine. After adding the purple glitter & black striped washi tape, I added “friends like you are precious and rare” with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

So there we go friends! Three Clean and Simple (with a little pop and sparkle), using one soon-to-be-released stamp set!

Wait just a second….I have one more card to share with you! How about Succulent Sparkles and a sneak peek of the Fairy Wonderful stamp set. Both of these sets are amazing together!! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek projects. Make sure you stop by the blog all week long for sneak peeks and design team project inspiration.

Big Paper Hugs!

Emily
