Stamping Together: Say Cheese!

Hello Friends and Happy Monday! Welcome to this month’s Stamping Together post when my kiddo and I play in the craft room with our favorite Trinity Stamps Goodies. This month it’s all about the Cheese Embellishments and it’s companion stamp Mouse House.

No Chocolate, Just Cheese Please!

For my card, I created a Halloween Mouse house using the Harvest Candy and Flower Bucket Die Set and the Candy Jar stamp set. For the Candy Bucket house, I die cut the pumpkin base and rim from white card stock and used my new white bristle blending brush to create a custom orange pumpkin. Then I die cut the handle and face from black shimmer card stock. I adhered all of the pieces together using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. For the happy little mice, I stamped the images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder on Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Then I used my Zig Clean Color Brushes to watercolor the mice, cheese and candy. For a little extra dimension, I added some white gel pen. I arranged the mice into the candy bucket with my favorite mouse dangling from the handle holding a piece of cheese. To complete the the card, I stamped the sentiment from 3×4 Autumn Sentiments Stamp Set in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink (the cool thing about this stamp set is that coordinates with all of the stamps in Autumn Release and the price point is fantastic). Then I crossed out Chocolate for Cheese by masking the sentiment from Mouse House. Then I adhered the finished/decorated card panel to a purple card base.

The Kiddo’s Mouse House

The Kiddo kept it clean and simple, focusing on the cute little mouse, a big piece of cheese and her sweet little home. Here’s the Kiddo’s take on her card:

Hello. I started with the mouse house. Then I dye cut the little mouse. I colored the mouse house with my Nuvo markers. I used colors that fit for a mouse. I popped up the mouse that I die cut onto a card base. I glued the cheese embellishment to the little mouse, so it looked like he was holding the cheese. Last but not least I put it on a brown background.

We hope you enjoyed our cards today! We had so much fun laughing and giggling as we created our cards together. It’s always the best time when we stamp and create together and we’re so happy we share our creations with you!
