Sparkly Snowflakes – Foiling on Acetate

Hi everyone!

Ilina here. Today I am have a card using the Frosty Foiled Snowflakes foil and die set along with the Simply Sentimental Merry and Christmas coordinating dies. No stamps!

To make the card I started by foiling snowflakes on acetate using some iridescent silver foil. I wasn’t able to foil all the snowflakes at once, so did if in few passes. I used a scrap piece of paper that I cut to A2 size and using repositionable adhesive to add the snowflakes before heating them on my Glimmer Machine, I used this piece of paper for all the snowflakes, that was I was able to line up the acetate to it and also know which areas I needed to cover with snowflakes.

Next I cut a piece of navy card stock to 4” x 5 1/4”.

.

DIe cut Merry and Christmas from holographic card stock to match the foil of the snowflakes and the shadow dies from white. I layered them

Next, I adhered the sentiment to the acetate using liquid adhesive and the acetate sheet to the Navy panel. Adhere the panel to a white card base.

Add few Something New Baubles as finishing touch and your card is finished.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day
