Sparkle and Shine

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! I hope you are enjoying the new Sparkle Season release as much as I am. It’s such a fun release with variety of products and styles!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the Sparkle Season stamp set and the coordinating dies. Since the tree image in the set is made out of gems I decided to add some sparkle and use shimmery watercolors to color it. To make it stand out even more I used black watercolor paper.

To make the card start by stamping the tree using Versamark ink and emboss it using gold embossing powder.

Color the image using shimmery/glittery watercolors from your stash, or any other medium of your choice.

Die cut the image using the coordinating die (the inner piece) and die cut the shadow tree using brushed gold cardstock. Adhere them together using foam tape to create dimension. Stamp sentiment on same watercolor paper, emboss in gold and die cut it.

Cut a panel from the same black watercolor paper measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (A2 size) and splatter some gold paint. Let it dry.

Adhere the tree, sentiment and few Golden Glass Sparkle rhinestones. To finish the card, adhere the panel to a top folding note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
