Slimline Sub Card

July1 CBK-3

Today I have a slimline using products from the brand new release: the Waving Hello stencil and the Shark Bait stamp & die set. I was so inspired by Davina’s recent slimline using the Shark Bait stamp set and I wanted to turn it into a fun reveal wheel card.

First I used the Waving Hello stencil and ink blended distress oxide ink mermaid lagoon and tumbled glass onto the 110 lb Neenah cardstock with the blending buddy. I added glitter paste on top of the mermaid distress ink to add a little interest.  I let this dry for several hours before cutting it and some navy cardstock with the Slimline Card Series: Frame and Fold Die Set.

Finally I die cut all the images from the Shark Bait stamp set, did some simple copic coloring, and spent a fair amount of time organizing everything before finally adhering everything in place.  I used Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel to create the spinner card of the submarine.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. This is great and it looks like the parts that you put the glitter paste, are behind the other parts! It is so 3D! Super cool effect and it also looks like it is a shaker element! What a fun card and subone will really enjoy getting it in the mail!!!!

  2. Christine, this is great using the Shark Bait stamps and making it a spinner card!! So love your creativity!!
