Slimline Rainbow Birthday Card

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! If you haven’t noticed yet, I love to use rainbow color scheme on my cards and make the most of leftover cardstock by cutting them in strips.

Today’s card is no exception.

I picked 6 colors of cardstock from my scraps stash and cut them in 1/2″ strips (they were 8 1/2″ long). I also cut piece of white card stock measuring 3″ x 8 1/2″. Added adhesive and adhered the strips in rainbow order. Trimmed the panel to 8″ x 3″

Next, I die cut the Swirly Birthday Sentiment Slimline die three times from white cardstock, stacked the die cuts and adhered the the slimline panel.

Using embossing and watermark ink, I stamped sentiments from the Simply sentimental Birthday set. I used “Wishing you a happy” and “from all of us” and embossed in white.

Adhered the panel to a slimline card base that I made from white cardstock measuring 8 1/2″ x 7″ and scored the 7″ at 3 1/2″

To finish it off I added few Bubble Blow out embellishments!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
