Sketchy Flowers Thank You Card
Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today I am sharing an A2 card using the Sketchy Florals set along with the coordinating die set to creare a card with a Fall feel.
I am all in Fall mood even the temperatures here in Georgia are in the 80-90s.
To make the card I started by stamping the image on Alcohol marker friendly cardstock (I find Hammermill cardstock works well when I don’t have Xpress it card handy). Once stamped I let it dry overnight just to make sure I don;t get any ink bleeds when coloring, or you can use your heat tool to quickly dry it. If you live in more humid climate this step is more important as things tend to take longer to dry especially ink.
Once dried I used variety of brands of alcohol based markers to color the image. (I picked more dark saturated colors that reminded me of fall).
Once colored I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and set aside. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and embossed in white, then die cut using the coordinating die.
I also die cut the second to the largest rectangle from the Modern Embossed rectangles stack dies from kraft cardstock.
Now that I have all the elements together, it is time to assembled the panel. Using foam tape I adhered the floral image onto the kraft panel and added the sentiment on top.
Next, I added Pearly gates Iridescent confetti mix embellishments and adhered the panel to an A2 white top folded card base that I created using 4 1/4” x 11” piece of white cardstock that I scored at 5 1/2” and folded in half.
Your cards is finished.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
