Sea You Soon Mermaid A2 card

Hi everyone! 

It’s Ilina and Happy Wednesday. I can’t believe the summer break is almost over, at least here in Georgia and my kids are going back to school next week. To finish the summer break I decided to make a ‘summery’ card using the Sea You Soon 3×4 Stamp set and coordinating dies that feature super cute mermaid holding a narwhal and the Underwater scene background stamp and coordinating dies. I actually had a piece of this underwater scene left over from another card I made few weeks ago and I decided to keep it, so it came in handy.

To make the card I made watercolor smoosh background using couple distress re-inkers and stamped, water colored and die cut the images.

Next, I cut the background piece to 3 3/4” x 5” and adhered the underwater background piece , then trimmed the excess. Next using foam tape I added the mermaid, sentiment then the fish. 

To finish off the card I adhered the panel to a A2 top folded card base using some foam tape too. Add little bit more dimension.
