Sea Shaker Card
Today I am up on the Trinity YouTube channel (link to YouTube Video on the Trinity channel) showing how to make a sea shaker card using numerous products from the Trinity Stamps new release. I was so excited to use the Scenes from the Sea stencil and a lot of my video focuses on the use of the stencil to create the backdrop.
- I stamped images from the Turtley Awesome, Ocean Reef builder and Mermaid Wishes stamp set and copic colored them.
- I blended a light layer of China blue distress ink on an A2 panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the Trinity blending brushes. Then I used the stencils to blend several colors of distress ink as shown in the video. After all the layers were made, I used Glitter Kiss glitter paste to put a layer of glitter on each of the sea plants. Finally I used some Wow embossing powder at the base of each sea plant and heat set it.
- Finally I cut the panel to create both a border and inner backdrop. I adhered a piece of acetate to the border and then adhered double sided foam adhesive. I glued the critters and some drops. Placing sequins on the backdrop, I then adhered the border and closed up the shaker card.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope that you will try out the stencils- they are a ton of fun!
You go girl, super cute!
