Reindeer Slider Card

Hi there, Christine here with a slider card that uses new products from the latest release including the North Pole Gnome stamp & die set.

I kept the background for the slimline card very simple- I actually did copic coloring for the pink background panel and then sprinkled white acrylic paint and added a few die cut glitter snowflakes.

I stamped and die cut all the images with the North Pole Gnome stamp & die set. I kept the copic coloring simple and just used 3 shades of each color to create some shading and lightness to each image.

I die cut a channel to add a slider piece that is adhered to the sleigh and reindeer on the front side and a penny on the backside. The weight of the penny allows the images to slide back and forth without the use of pull mechanism. Having a snow bank in front of the channel allows the entire mechanism to be hidden. It is critical to use double sided foam tape to provide space for the images to move freely. Any other part of the card can be improvised, just critical to hide the mechanism and give it room to work!
