Red Foiled & Embossed Valentine
Hello, friends!! Brenda here with a classic red Valentine’s Day card created with lots of goodies from the newest release!! This would be perfect for that special man in your life, as it leans more masculine!!
I began by foiling the Love Heart Cut & Foil foil plate onto Glimmer specialty cardstock with red foil, then I cut it out with the included die.
Next, I embossed the Art Deco Dance Hot Foil Plate onto a panel of red cardstock using an embossing mat and my die-cut machine. The Dainty Heart Cut & Foil Dies were cut from red and white cardstock (I only used the inner heart and saved the scalloped ones for another project). I embossed the Art Deco Dance Hot Foil Plate onto the red heart, as well.
The sentiment is from the Sucker For You Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die.
The red embossed panel was trimmed to 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″, then adhered to an A2 white cardbase with liquid glue. The foiled heart was adhered to the embossed panel, also using liquid glue.
The two smaller hearts were adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offset, then popped up with foam tape.
The sentiment was adhered across the smaller heart with a combination of foam adhesive and liquid glue. A trio of Lily White Heart embellishments finish off the card.
