Patterned Papers + Watercolors + Gold Embossing | Trinity Stamps
Hello friends! I’m back again up on Trinity Stamps blog today with two watercolor cards. I’m featuring the Bouquet of Hope, Let Love Grow and Caffeinated Sentiments stamps for today’s card. I’m also, using Jane Davenport watercolors.
Let’s begin! For each card I die cut two panels in different sizes and from different patterned papers. I used them as my background for each card.
For the first card, I stamped the Bouquet of Hope onto a piece of watercolor paper using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW Metallic Gold embossing powder.
Then, I started painting the image with the watercolors. I chose fall colors from Jane Davenport Glitz-Sea watercolors set. And the outside of the image was painted with Moon Rock from Altenew watercolor.
I wanted this panel to have a different shape, so I used an scallop die frame on top of it and I run it through my die cutting machine.
Next, I stamped the sentiment on the right side of my card using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
Finally, I placed this panel on top of my patterned papers background and added some Rock Candy Confetti embellishment mix.
For my second card, I stamped the biggest image from Let Love Grow stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using WOW Metallic Gold embossing powder.
Again, I started painting the image with the watercolors and once I was finished, I decided to give it a shape so I put a tag on top and die cut it.
Next, I die cut an scallop panel, smaller than the first one and added watercolors splashes.
When everything was dried, I put the watercolor splashed panel on top of the patterned papers background. Then, I added the tag on top using foam tape.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the background of the card using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and added some sequins.
I hope you liked these cards that I have created with tons of loves. Please head over Trinity Stamps website to get the stamps used in these cards and stop by the blog for more inspiration. Have a fabulous FRI-YAY!
Absolutely beautiful!
