One Stencil Three Ways-Yellow Bed of Roses Anniversary Cards

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Today, I have three Anniversary-Themed cards that I created using one 6×9 Stenciled Sheet using the Bed of Roses 2 Piece Layering Stencil Set and my favorite bright and cheerful yellow roses.

Starting with the first stencil layer, I stenciled the yellow roses to a sheet of 8.5×11 white card stock using Trinity Blending Buddy Brushes and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink. Then I added the second layer stencil to add the green leaves using Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. I kept it super simple with only two colors since the large rose images provide instant impact.

The Three Yellow Rose Pieces:

  • With the Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set, I die-cut a stitched slimline rectangle from the stenciled rose sheet.
  • With the Intertwined Heart Die, I die-cut the hearts from the stenciled rose sheet along with white cardstock.
  • With the remaining material of the stenciled rose sheet, I trimmed an A2 rectangle layer.

For the first card, I layered the slimline stitched slimline panel to a black scallop layer. Using Liquid Adhesive, I added the yellow rose thin framed intertwined heart and then added white cardstock pieces as the heart inlay. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from Joyful Heart Stamp Set to a black sentiment strip and then hand-cut the banner edges.

For my second card, I added the white cardstock Intertwined Heart Die frame to an A2 White Cardstock panel and then added the yellow Bed of Roses heart inlays. To complete the card, I added Scripty LOVE YOU and Happy Anniversary Sentiment Strip.

For my last card, I created the Yellow Heart Quilted A2 Stitched/Stenciled Panel using the A-2 Quilted Cover Coverplate Die and Coordinating Quilted Pattern Trio Stencil Set. Then I added the Stenciled Yellow Roses rectangle strip to the bottom of the card panel. To finish the card, I added the Happy Anniversary White Heat Embossed sentiment strip and then added the decorated card panel to a black cardstock cardbase.

So there we are friends, three Anniversary cards using one stenciled sheet of yellow bed of roses. I hope you enjoyed my cards today and inspires you to stretch your supplies in fun new ways.

Big Paper Hugs!
