Oceans of Fun Happy Birthday!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share this Oceans of Fun Happy Birthday Card!! Do you LOVE to use Stencils and Die Cuts to create your own Scenes!!?? I do, but how about STEPPING the Designs up by using a combination of both Distress Embossing Powders and Distress Glaze Embossing Powders!! SWOON!! You’ll NEVER Stencil or Color Die Cuts the same again!! 

I Started by Stenciling with the NEW Undersea Adventure Stencil Set and Distress Oxide Inks in Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo and Abandoned Coral!! Then I used Distress Embossing Powders in Peeled Paint and Walnut Stain and Distress Glaze Embossing Powder in Saltwater Taffy!! 

SWOON!! I LOVE the Texture, Dimension and Shine that these Powders add to the Stenciled Design!! It really makes the Scene come to LIFE!! 

I Continued to build the Scene by using both the Positive and Negative Stencils!! I used both Rustic Wilderness and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks and Pine Needles Distress Embossing Powder along with Picked Raspberry Distress Glaze Embossing Powder!! I LOVE how ALL of these Colors work together to create such a BRIGHT and HAPPY Scene!! 

Next I used the Negative Stencils to Mask off the Inked and Embossed Designs and then I Inked the Background using Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I added some Water Splatters for some Texture!! 

Next I placed the Rays Stencil and Inked with White Pigment Ink!! I LOVE how this finishes off the Ocean Scene!! 

Here’s a look at the completed Card Panel background!! Just look at ALL of that AMAZING Texture, Dimension and Shine!! I mean Stenciled Designs NEVER looked so Good am I right!!??

Next I Die Cut the NEW Mermaid Cove Images from White Cardstock and then Inked them with Distress Oxide Inks and used a combination of Distress Embossing Powders and Distress Glaze Embossing Colors to add Texture, Dimension and Shine!! Then I used both Copic Markers and a White Gel Pen to add even more Texture and Highlights!! 

I then Layered the Die Cuts to Build the next Layer to the Ocean Scene using the Crafty Gluefrend Liquid Adhesive!! 

Then I added some Embellishments for even more Texture and some Sparkle!! I adhered some NEW High Tide Confetti Embellishments using !! Then added some White Gel Pen Highlights!! Next I added some Fish Embellishments all from the Salt Water Aquarium Embellishment Mix!! They are the PERFECT Scale and they finish off the Scene!! Lastly I Stamped and Embossed the “Happy Birthday” Sentiment from the NEW Mermazing Stamp Set using Versa Mark Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! Then I used the coordinating NEW Mermazing Die Set to Die Cut the Sentiment out and Adhered it to the Card Panel using a Double Sided Foam Adhesive Strips!! 

So there you have an Oceans of Fun Happy Birthday Card, that uses a combination of both Distress Embossing Powders and Distress Glaze Embossing Powders to STEP up the Designs!! I Absolutely LOVE the Texture, Dimension and Shine!! I hope this INSPIRES you to give this a try one your next Stenciled and Die Cut Card Design!!
