Hello there, Christine here with an interactive slimline card. I wanted to make a neighborhood with a moving mail truck, so I created a slider using the Slimline Surprises die set and paired it with the Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood stamp & die set.
I first cut a road using the smallest die in the Slimline Dainty Scallop Edge die set and grey cardstock from my stash and cut the scalloped edges off to make it look like a road. I then used the Slimline Surprises die set to cut a slot in the road so that I could glue the mail truck to a plastic slider and a circle that fit on the other side of the groove.
I then took the two larger dies in the Slimline Dainty Scallop Edge die set and die cut a light blue border to create immediate detail and interest to the card. I then colored all the images from the Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood stamp & die set and did some very simple copic coloring. That is it- now the mail truck slides back and forth!
Thank you for stopping by- have a wonderful day!
