Mother’s Day Floral Swag Slimline
Hello, crafters and card makers!! Happy Thursday!!
Mother’s Day is just a couple of short weeks away!! Do you have your cards finished yet? I have a pretty floral slimline card to share with you today featuring some of the products from the newest Wilderness Woods Release!!
I began by die-cutting the Floral Swag Slimline Die three times from heavyweight white cardstock. I also die-cut the top layer of the Scripty Mother’s Day Die Set from heavyweight white cardstock three times and the bottom layer from vellum once. I stacked and adhered all of the layers together with liquid glue.
Next, I blended Bee Sting Yellow and Sweet Petunia Pink inks onto a panel of Bristol cardstock with Blending Buddy Brushes.
The ink-blended panel was die-cut with the middle size rectangle die in the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows Dies. I also die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the largest scalloped rectangle die in the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set and adhered the ink-blended panel on top.
I adhered the die-cut floral swag in one corner, trimmed off the excess and adhered it to the opposite corner. I adhered all of the extra pieces that I cut off around the perimeter.
The sentiment was adhered to the center of the card front, adding liquid glue only behind the white cardstock letters.
A sprinkling of Something New Baubles around the floral die-cuts was the perfect finishing touch!!
