Mom

Hello there! Silvia’s here today with a new mother’s day inspired card.

I started cutting a 4″x5,25″ panel from white cardstock  and I  applied the “Simply Daisy Bunch” stencil on it.

I then ink blended it with kitsch flamingo, lumberjack plaid and salvaged patina Dsitress Oxide inks for the flower and twisted citron and mowed lawn Distress Oxide inks for the leaves.

I darkened edges with antique linen, tea dye and vintage photo Distress Oxide inks, I applied a bit of gathered twigs Distress ink on the “Encouragement Text” rubber stamp and I stamped it over the inked flowers.

I splattered with clean water and white, gold and dark brown acrylic paints and I let it dry.

I die cut one of the “mom” from vellum and brown cardstock with the “Simply Sentimental-Mom” die set and I heat embossed in gold on brown cardstock one of the sentiments from the “Simply Sentimental-Mom” stamp set.

I put everything together using liquid glue and I added some confetti from the “Pearly Pastels” embellishment mix.
