Missing You Snow Much

Hello there, Christine here with a sneak peek of the new upcoming release!  I’m sharing the new A-7 Snowflake Frame die set and it is SNOW much fun- literally! The die set comes with a snowflake border that you can make into a frame or use as is, 3 snowflakes and the sentiment “Missing You Snow Much”.  How fun is that?

I used the die set to make snowflake border frame out of Neenah 110lb solar white cardstock and put blue shimmer paper (I had this in my stash) behind the frame part.  I then toned down the shimmer paper in the middle by ink blending Hero Arts unicorn white pigment ink- it’s amazing how you can use the same paper and with so little effort- get different effects!  I die cut some trees from the Slimline Forest Border die set and sprinkled some diluted white acrylic paint on them.

Then I die cut some snow and snowflakes out of glitter cardstock that I had in my stash and added new baubles that will be part of the new release to the snowflakes. I had to go through my entire range of blue cardstock in my stash to see what blue color worked best for making the sentiments stand out, but not overwhelm the card. I have to do a lot of trial and error to usually figure this out- even die cutting several colors of blue to see what works- so please use what is in your stash. It’s interesting, but I didn’t think the same blue cardstock worked for the snow sentiment- it needed to be a different color cardstock altogether to stand out and create interest on the card- so I opted for metallic gold.

Thank you SNOW much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!
