Mirror Stamping–Easier Than You Think!!

Greeting card featuring two small triceratops images holding hearts and facing each other. Text reads "here for you friend."

Hi crafty friends! Irene Smith here (@artemismade1), and my goal for today is to demystify the mirror stamping technique by distracting you with adorable dinos!! Haha, totally kidding!! No smoke and mirrors here, ok, well some mirrors–but only for mirror stamping! 😂 I know this technique might scare some crafters because it seems awfully technical. How do I know? Because you are my people! I, too, was so afraid to give it a whirl–but then I faced my fear and went for it, and guess what?? It was SO EASY! The emergence of the grip mats has made this super fun AND super easy! Watch my tutorial below and learn all about how YOU can use your grip mat to maximize your crafty stash! 🧡

Supplies used for this project:

Unfortunately the A2 Foundations: Circle stencils are out of stock, and I didn’t realize that at the time of recording. I am so sorry about that!! The good thing, however, is that you can use any circle die that cuts roughly a 2.5″ circle to do the same style! I recommend cutting it out of acetate just for ease of blending, but any heavyweight cardstock will do just fine. If you have the Emergency Card Essentials Die Set #1 then you can use the 2nd largest circle right from that set and it will be perfect!

I would love to see what you do with this super simple technique! It opens a whole range of exciting new options, doesn’t it?? Make sure you comment below and let me know what you made!

Thanks for sharing time with me, friends! I hope you have a great day, and I hope you have a chance to grab some paper and craft something that really makes you smile!

Crafty hugs,

Irene
