May Crafty Troop Challenge #3

Hello Crafty Friends! Davina here with Trinity Stamps to announce the May Crafty Troop Challenge #3. Last month our Critter Challenge had some very amazing and cute entries and each brought a huge smile to my face. From the incredibly beautiful projects we received, I used a random number generator and selected our April winner. Congratulations to Priscilla Joseph! The May Crafty Troop Challenge theme is a fabulous Pastel Rainbow Color Board! I hope you’re super excited to pull out your coloring mediums and rainbowfy everything! I know that I am. So, during this months challenge, every single Trinity Stamp is fair game, as long as you bring it to life using this sherbet hued rainbow.

The card I’ve created for today is bursting with these fun colors. I used a recently released set that I illustrated, called Space Otters . This is a really fun set with easy to color images and I really loved how easy it is to bring to life on any kind of background.

I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend a vibrant rainbow background. Then splattered with water, white ink, and sparkly Perfect Pearls. Then I used a glittery embossing paste with the slimline Space Swirls stencil to create the starry texture.

If you look carefully you will notice that the helmets of my otters and their fish friend are shiny and reflective. I used the solo helmet die, to cut several pieces of clear plastic, and adhered them over the space helmets. I love the reflective glossy look of it.
