Lucky to Know You-Use Your Scraps

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Do you have a stack of scraps that you don’t know what to do, or are always sitting there. It’s time to pull them out and use them. I usually cut my scrap cardstock in strips and keep them in little pouches or containers and use them for different techniques or for sentiments. I love using colorful strips on my cards.

For todays one I decided to go with different shades of green and paired the background with a sentiment die cut and stamp from the Simply Sentimental: Lucky stamp set and die set.

To make the card start by choosing your cardstock strips.

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ . You will adhere the strips to this. Cut the strips to varying lengths and arrange onto the white panel.

Adhere them using different thickness of foam tape.

 

Die cut sentiment from gold and shadow from white cardstock.

Assemble the sentiment, adhere to the panel and stamp the supporting sentiment. 

To finish off the card add some Goldrush Holographic Gold Confetti mix, then adhere to a green cardbase.
