Love is patient, love is kind

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here today with a love theme card made creating my own stencil.

I used the hearts dies from the “Frame & Fold Slimline” die set to create a stencil from white cardstock and I cut a 5,5″ x 4,25″ rectangle from cream cardstock.

Next I made a heart pattern on the card base using my stencils, a blending buddy brush and blending spun sugar, worn lipstick and festive berries Distress Oxide inks. I also added some texture splattering  spun sugar and vintage photo Distress Oxide reinkers and a bit of Indian gold Nuvo mousse loosened with water and I darkened edges with tea dye Distress Oxide ink.

I then stamped images from the “Sleepy Hollow” stamp set with brown ink, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinatings dies.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I heat embossed in brown a sentiment (my favorite one) from the “Love and Stuff Sentiments” stamp set.
