Let’s Hang Out
Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s back here with you today with a super cute Halloween card.
I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from black cardstock with the “Argyle Stitch Background” die and I set it aside.
I then die cut the two pieces of the pie base from the “Oh My Pie” die set (the border from textured colored cardstock and the “filling” from white cardstock) and the spider web included in the “You Donut Scare Me” die set from black cardstock.
I ink blended the “filling” of the pie with twisted citron, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks and I splattered it with clean water and tone on tone inks loosened with a drop of water.
I heat embossed in black twice on vellum the super cute spider from the “Web Designer” stamp set and I cut it with coordinating dies.
I also die cut two other spider silhouettes from vellum and I glued them under the stamped one to add dimension.
I heat embossed in white the sentiment from the “Web Designer” stamp set on black cardstock, I cut it with coordinating dies and I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.
Next I die cut one of the cute speech bubbles from the “Speech Bubbles Tiny” die set, I stamped “eek!” in it with purple ink and I put near the spider face with a piece of foam tape.
That’s all for today! I’m so happy of how this card turned out and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
Thanks a lot for passing by today.
Have an amazing new week! Big hugs, Silvia.
