Just Keep Swimming

Hellooooooo! Silvia’s back on the Trinity Stamps blog today with an under the sea themed card…..I hope you’ll enjoy it!

I started cutting a 5,25″x4″ from white cardstock and I created an under the sea landscape on it. 

I used the “Under Scene Adventure” stencil for the bottom (I blended tea dye, vintage photo and scorched timber Distress Oxide inks for the sand and shabby shatters and mowed lawn Distress Oxide inks for the sea plants) and the “Good Morning Sunshine” stencil for the water (I first blended tumbled glass Distress Oxide ink and then broken china and mermaid lagoon Distress Oxide inks).

I darkened edges with prize ribbon Distress Oxide ink, I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints and I let it dry.

I then stamped images from the new and so cute “Gnomies Under the Sea” stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I stamped in black the sentiment from the above set.

I added some hearts from the “Soft Sky Baubles Embellishment Mix” and that’s all.
