It’s a Celebration Collaboration! Last Minute gift ideas using Trinity & Honey Bee Stamps products!

Hello, My Inky Friends!

Taniesa here with you today for a special event! We were asked by Honey Bee Stamps to participate in their 12 designers of Christmas event. Today is day 12 and a special treat for all of you! The Owner of Honey Bee Stamps, Melissa, and I are mixing things up with both of our companies products to bring you some fresh and fun inspiration!  I am so excited about this event not only because I was a designer for Honey Bee Stamps for years before launching Trinity and have always LOVED Honey Bee’s Stamps and Dies (click HERE to see my personal blog and LOTS of Honey Bee Stamps ideas!), but also because Melissa is one of my very best friends and is designing with our products today too! A SUPER Big thank you to Melissa and Lisa of Honey Bee Stamps for having me as a guest!

I have three projects I created for you all today and they all are centered around last minute gift ideas! I dont know about you but I am so behind on all of my holiday shopping but I didn’t even think about the gifts for my postal carrier, my favorite Barista, and all the other people in my day to day life that I want to give a little holiday thank you gift to. These little projects give a fun handmade touch that I think will make anyone feel special!

First up is this fun Nail Polish ornament and tag duo!

I found this cute three-piece nail polish ornament in the Target dollar spot for $3, I knew just what I wanted to create with this one so I scooped up a few of these for some special holiday treats. I Left the ornament almost identical to how I purchased it except I replaced the confetti (which was pink and silver flat sequins) to Trinity Stamps Boughs of Holly Confetti mix and some Skip-A-Beat heart confetti. I also filled in the top with some mylar tissue paper. I added just a little tape to the sides and bottom so the ornament wouldn’t open up easily.

Then I took the Honey Bee Stamps Nail Polish Bottle Honey Cuts die set and made a shaker tag by filling the layered foam and die cut bottle with the Skip-a-Beat heart confetti and the Lucky Clover confetti. Once that was put together, I colored the top of the nail polish bottle with some cool gray Copic markers C5, C7, C9, C10 and added a top layer of glitter with my Wink Of Stella glitter marker and then coated the whole top with Glossy Accents by Ranger. I set that aside to dry.

I made the cute little die cut bow out of red cardstock and painted it all over with the Nuvo Midas Touch gold glitter pen. Then I stamped, Cut, and colored some pieces in the Trinty Stamps Winter Botanicals stamp set (die set too) to make some mistletoe. I added some sparkle and a little glossy accent’s to the berries too. I glued the mistletoe arrangement down at the base of the bottle top and then placed the red bow over the ends.

The next morning when the glossy accents had dried I used the Honey Bee Stamps Simple Sentiments and Simple alpha to stamp this cute and fun message on the inside. (I should have stamped this prior to putting the bottle together but it worked out okay, but you might want to stamp the inside first before completing the outside).

This cute ornament would look so fun hanging on any tree or gifted to your favorite Barista or whoever does your manicure!

Next is a similar project but sits on a table a bit better than the ornament. This cute little box contains three mini bottles of nail polish and would be great to have as a party favor, hostess gift, or any little holiday gift you might need. This can adapt to any them and doesn’t have to just be for Christmas.

I created this little box with extra pieces I had from an older project. Then I stamped some nail polish bottles from the Honey Bee Stamps Shine On Stamp set, colored them with Copic markers, and then cut them out with the coordinating die set. I coated the top of the bottles with glossy accents as well and left to dry overnight.

Once dry I sprinkled with a little glitter then topped with a silver embossed bow from the Trinity Stamps Winter Botanicals stamp set. I also added some of the bells from our Jingle Bell Rocks embellishment mix.

I wanted to include a note so instead of slipping one inside the tiny tote bag, I cut a note card slightly smaller than the box with the Honey Bee Stamps A-2 Double Stitched frames die set and used my same Winter Botanicals stamp set to stamp the mistletoe and berries as well as another embossed silver bow. I colored the mistletoe with the same red and green Copic markers I used for the bottles. Using the Honey Bee Simple Sentiments and Simple alpha I stamped “For Your Mistletoes” on the front and then on the inside I stamped “Mani Thanks” from the Honey Bee Stamps Shine On stamp set

I adhered the little notecard to the back of the box and then assembled my little gift. I think it came out so cute and it was super easy to create!

The last little project I created was one using the Honey Bee Stamps Tea Time die set, This set also has a matching Stamp Set but I just used the dies alone for this project. I also used the Trinity Stamps Seasonal Sweetheart stamp and die sets for the gingerbread man and the sentiment.

I took the cupcake die from HBS Tea Time and the largest mug and cut them out using patterned paper and cardstock. The top of the cupcake is coated with embossing paste to mimic frosting and then I added some of our Sweet Strawberry sprinkles, the Key Lime Sprinkles, and a hint of transparent glitter shimmer.

Once dry I added the little Gingerbread man from Trinity Stamps Seasonal Sweetheart to the mug and then added a hint of glitter. I added a sentiment strip that says “May Your Holidays Be Sweet” from the same Seasonal Sweetheart stamp set. Inside is a Starbucks gift card that I thought matched the theme.

All three of these gifts can be made fairly quick or create ahead and have them on hand for those last minute gifts!
