Hugs Garden Flowers
Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a bright floral card featuring the Garden Flowers Die Set from the latest May Release!! I absolutely LOVE this die set!!
I began by die-cutting all the flowers and butterfly pieces from bright colors of cardstock using the Garden Flowers Die Set. I used pink, orange, yellow, green, teal and glossy black cardstock. The elements were layered and adhered together using liquid glue.
For the background, I added glitter gel through the polka dot stencil in the Quilted Pattern Trio Stencil Set. I die-cut it with the third largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set. The largest die in the Dainty Scallop Rectangles Die Set was cut from pink cardstock and the white layer was adhered to it, then it was adhered to an A2 white card base. The floral die-cuts were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.
The top layer of the sentiment, from the Simply Sentimental: Hugs Die Set, was cut once from glossy black cardstock and the bottom layer was cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock. They were layered together and adhered across the floral arrangement. The butterfly was adhered, adding adhesive only behind the body, allowing the wings to “pop up”. I added some Star Dust Stickles to all of the die-cuts to add a bit of sparkle.
These bright colors make my heart happy!!
