Hugs From Me to You

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! I hope you are loving the new January release! I love the new Simply Sentimental Hugs stamp set and dies, so I had to use it right away along with the new Mini Heart Swirl Die.

To make the card I started by cutting strips of card stock in blue and pink shades in different widths using my paper trimmer. Also I cut an A2 piece of printer paper (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) and adhered them to it alternating between colors and width. 

I used liquid adhesive, but you can use any other adhesive of your choice.

Once, the adhesive was dry, I used the third to the largest die from the Modern Embossed Rectangles dies to cut it out.

I also die cut Hugs three times (one from white glitter card stock and twice from white card stock) and stacked them. I due cut the shadow from vellum. I did the same with the Mini Heart Swirl die.

Nest, I stamped the “From me to you” sentiment from the SImply Sentimental Hugs set and embossed in white. Adhered the die cuts and added few Snow White Opaque Shine confetti for added interest. 

 

 

To finish off the card I used foam tape to adhere the panel to a white top folded note card.
