Hopping by to say… Card and tag set

Hi Everyone, Mirella here again.

Today, I have something unusual for me to share with you, as I not only made a card, but I also have a tag to go with it.

From the moment I got my hands on the adorable Puddle Jumpers stamp set, I knew that I wanted to combine the cute frogs with the sunflowers from the Sunflower Bouquet Builder set. In my head, these went really well together, and I think I was right about it.

I stamped all the images in brown ink on kraft coloured cardstock, and I coloured them with my Copics. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the sunflowers and leaves, and fussy cut the frogs (but if you don’t like fussy cutting, there’s a die set, too!).

For the background, I ink blended a circle, using my blending buddy , the second biggest circle from the Foundations circle stencil set  and some light blue inks. I then arranged the flowers to my liking, and adhered them using both liquid glue and some dimensional tape. All that was left to do, was to add the cute frogs (I used some foam tape for them also, to help them stand out a bit more), and stamp a sentiment.

Once I adhered the whole panel to a green card base, it was time for some embellishments. I love the look of the Boiled Sugar Jelly Drop Hearts on floral images, hence I opted for these for my card. I also added some Glossy Accents to the frogs’ bellies and eyes.

I cut out a tag shape with dies from my stash, and used the leftover images to decorate it:

I am really happy that I tried something new, as I am loving this adorable set. Have a look, what do you think?

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and that I inspired you to try making something new,  even if it’s as simple as a little tag.

As usual, you can find the full list of supplies used on my blog

Don’t forget that we still have a giveaway happening on the Trinity YouTube channel, and you have until May 15th to enter and win yourself some Trinity goodies!

Have a good day and stay safe & crafty!

Mirella
