Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello there and happy Monday! Silvia’s here with you today with a Christmas card featuring the amazing new “Emergency Card Essentials 2” die set.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from kraft cardstock and I embossed it with the “Argyle Stitch Background” die set. I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink, I splattered with white and gold acrylic paints and I deeped edgesin the gold acrylic paint loosened with water.

I then die cut the “swirl” border from white cardstock twice and I glued them on the panel.

I then die cut two Christmas baubles, I ink blended one of them with kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide ink and the other one with salvaged patina Distress Oxide ink, I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints and I put them on the card using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

I heat embossed in white one of the sentiment from the “Simply Sentimental-Christmas” stamp set on black cardstock and I attached them on the card.

I needed a touch of sparkle, so I cut some little stars from gold glittered cardstock, I glued them here and there and that’s all.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to kick off the new week with me.

Have a great day! Big hugs, Silvia.
