Hello Trinity Stamps’ friends! Silvia’s for a new term and I’m so grateful and honored for it!
Today I have a simple Valentine’s day card to share with you and I’d like to show you an alternative way to use the new and super cute “Checkered Background: Heart” stencil.
I started cutting a white panel using the biggest die from the “Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” set and I ink blended with tattered rose Distress Oxide ink.
I used the hearts stencil from the “Checkered Background Add-on2 stencil to create a soft texture using the same ink of the background. I then moved the same stencil a bit and I blended some saltwater taffy Distress Oxide ink throught it and ….how cute is this?!
Next I used the “Dainty Heart Cut and Foil” die set to cut two white scalloped hearts and and two smaller hearts, one in pink and one colored with speckled egg Distress Oxide ink.
I also embossed in white on black cardstock the sentiment from the “Sucker for You” stamp set and I cut it with the coordinating die.
I put everything together using a mix of “Crafty Gluefriend” liquid glue and “Double Sided Foam Strips”, I added some “Cinnamon red Hots-Jelly Drops Heart” and that’s all.
