Happy New Year Bottle Gift Tag

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope you are doing well!!

Do you have any fun plans for New Year’s Eve? Hubby and I usually stay home and have our own little fondue party and watch the ball drop on TV. If you are going to a party, I have the perfect addition to add to a bottle of bubbly or wine to give as a host/hostess gift!!

I started by die-cutting the Bottle Gift Tag Die from black cardstock and the Mini Slimline Disco Ball Die from holographic cardstock, then adhered them together. The Bottle Gift Tag Set includes several word dies to create some fun sentiments, but I was going for a New Year theme!!

I just love the shine from the Disco Ball Die when cut from holographic paper!! I wish the camera could capture it!!

I die-cut the top layer of the Scripty New Year Dies from holographic cardstock and the bottom from white cardstock, layered and adhered them together.

Next, I die-cut the champagne glasses from heavyweight white cardstock three times using dies in the Cheers Die Set and adhered them all together. I knew the stem of the glasses would hang off the bottom of my tag, so this provides some stability, as well as dimension. I die-cut them again from gold holograpic cardstock and only used the inner piece (I saved the outline for another project) and trimmed them at an angle.

All that was left was to adhere the die-cut sentiment and champagne glasses to the tag.

I added some Bubble Bath Baubles for the bubbles around the champagne flutes! I love combining these with holographic cardstock! They’re a perfect match!!

I wish you could see this in person!! The photos just don’t do it justice!!

So, do tell!! What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? I’d love to know!!

Have a great weekend, everyone!!

Brenda
