Happy Mail Set with Mr. Snailman

Hello Friends, Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I’m here this week sharing a Happy Mail Envelope & Card set using the 3×4 cute as can be Mr. Snailman stamp set. When I saw I had some Air Mail pattern washi tape in my stash, I knew I needed to combine it with the Mr. Snail Man set and I absolutely love how it turned out.

Creating the Card

To create this fun mail-themed set, I first stamped the Mr. Snailman images and then colored with my Copics. I added the “Hooray for Snail Mail” sentiment with my favorite ink: VersaFine Nocturne. I added a few Skip-A-Beat Heart Confetti embellishments to add a little pop. I love that these hearts have the most whimsey shape to them. Then I “sealed” the card by adding Air Mail washi tape all around the card panel.

Decorating the Envelope

To create the decorated liner, I used a Paper Source A2 envelope liner template to create the liner and then I stamped a bunch of hearts along the edge of liner. Then I colored all those little hearts with Copics. To add the liner, a little tip is to only add glue to the top of the liner (not the bottom). Then place the liner in the envelope and adhere only the top portion to the envelope. Then fold and use a bone folder to create a nice crisp fold that is perfectly lined-up with the envelope fold.

For just a little more pop, I stamped and white heat embossed the Mr. Snailman image on the front of the envelope and then added some color with colored pencils.

All together, this made for a Happy Mail Envelope and Card set using all the fun images from the set. I hope you enjoyed this project and I wish you a wonderful week ahead.
