Happy Independence Day

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here with you today with a 4th of July inspired card.

I started cuttinga 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock and I inked it blending lumberjack plaid and prize ribbon Distress Oxide inks through the amazing “Superstar” layering stencil.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints.

I then die cut all the pieces I needed to build up a paper rosette from red and white cardstock using the new “Ribbon Rosette” die set designed by Lynda Kanase. I also blended some stars on the red pieces with the above stencil and white pigment ink.

I put together the paper rosette and I glued it on my cardbase.

I stamped one of the sentiment from the “Simply-Sentimental:happy” stamp set in blue on a shite circle, I glued it on the paper rosette and that’s all.

Thank youy so much for stopping by today!

Have a great new week! Big hugs, Silvia.
