Happy Halloween

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here today on the Trinity Stamps blog to share with you a Halloween card.

I started cutting an arch panel using one of the dies from the “Arch-shaped A7 Card with Nesting Arch Layers” set from a purple cardstock and I also die cut a little circle from yellow cardstock with one of the smaller dies from the “Clean Cut Layers Circles” set.

I applied the yellow circle on the background and I ink blended around it with muster seed Distress Oxide ink. I then blended some lost shadows Distress oxide ink around the edges of the panel and I darkened with black soot Distress Oxide ink. I splattered with gold and black acrylic paints and I set it aside (this background was inspired by a Nichol Spohr’s one).

I cut a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it with old paper, pine needles and black soot Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water and white, black and gold acrylic paints and I let it dry.

I stamped the super cute gnome and bats from the “Fa-Boo-Lous Gnome” stamp set and dies, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I also die cut the cake stand from black cardstock using the “Cut the Cake” set and some white clouds with the “Picket Fence Cut Out” set.

I used the “Simply Sentimental-Halloween” stamp and die sets for the sentiment and I started puting everything together using a mix of liquid glue andfoam tape.

I put a cute bow on the cake stand and that’s all.
