Hola Everyone! Pocono Pam here! I am super excited to guest design for Trinity Stamps today! I have two cards that I would like to share with you.
For my first card, I used the Classroom Cuties Stamp Set. I stamped the various accessories included in the set on a 5 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ white panel and colored them with Copic Markers. I thought this would make a fun background. I adhered the panel to a red 5 1/2″ X 4 1/2″ mat. I colored a 2 1/4″ white circle with B000 and adhered it to a red 2 1/2″ circle securing it just above the center of the background panel.
I stamped and colored one of the little girls and the cold drink cup from the set . I used the Classroom Cuties Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I adhered the girl to the circle and popped up the cold cup with a very tiny piece of foam tape. I stamped, cut and matted “So Proud of You” from the set and placed it near the bottom of the circle with foam tape.
I adhered the panel to a 5 3/4″ X 4 3/4″ card base to complete.
My 2nd card, a Slimline, measures 8 1/2″ X 3 1/2″. It fits nicely into a #10 business envelope and does not require additional postage. I used Trinity Stamps Classroom Cuties and Let’s Ride Together stamp sets and coordinating dies in addition to the Slimline series: The Great Outdoors and Envelope Builder dies.
Using Copic Markers, I stamped, colored and die cut all of the Classroom Cuties. I like to alter images to reflect my family, friends and neighbors. So, I stamped one of the cuties twice, giving him an afro. I then stamped, colored and die cut the crossing guard, clouds, sun and stop sign from the Let’s Ride Together set. I went over the crossing guard’s vest with a shimmer pen.
I die cut tree and grass from The Great Outdoors Borders & Builders set. I colored the leaves and grass with Copic Markers to add dimension.
I die cut the stitched scalloped border from Slimeline Series: Envelope Builder and began to assemble my card. I adhered patterned cardstock to the slimline card base. I glued the grass close to the bottom edge of the card. I then adhered the tree trunk followed by the scalloped border. I then adhered the clouds and popped up the sun and leaves with foam tape.
I glued the children down adding foam tape to two of them. I popped up the stop sign and drink with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping a sentiment using the Let’s Ride Together set. I thought this card would make a nice Thank You card for a crossing guard.
Thank you for taking a peek at my cards today. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them.
