Hello, fellow card makers and crafters!! I hope you’ve had a great week!!
I have an adorable holiday slimline card to share with you today!! I absolutely adore all of the Trinity gnomes and they are so much fun to mix and match!! Let’s get to my project, shall we?
I started by stamping all of the gnomes from the following sets: Let Your Light Shine, From Our Gnome to Yours, and Comfort and Joy with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them all with Copic markers, they were cut out with the Let Your Light Shine, From Our Gnome to Yours and Comfort and Joy Coordinating Dies. The sentiment, from From Our Gnome to Yours, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and trimmed into a narrow strip.
For the background, I stamped the All Spruced Up Stamp Set onto a panel of bristol smooth cardstock with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped it again with InkOn3 Embossing Ink and clear heat embossed it, then die-cut it with a stitched die from the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set. Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks were blended onto the panel with Blending Buddy Brushes.
The gnomes were popped up onto the panel with foam adhesive, then diluted white gouache was splattered on with a paint brush. Once the splatters were dry, the sentiment strip was also adhered with foam tape. I die-cut a panel from white cardstock with a die from the Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banners Die Set and adhered the stitched panel on top. I added some drops of red glitter glue to the spruce branches for another touch of red and to add a little sparkle.
I hope you love how this turned out as much as I do!! These little gnomes just have my heart!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful Friday and enjoy your weekend!!
