Floral Cross Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are never fun to make, but a staple in my stash. I like to create some to have on hand, so when I need one, they are at hand.

The Floral Cross stamp set and Coordinating Dies make quick work of sympathy cards. There is even a bundle that includes both the stamp and dies at a discounted price.

I began by stamping the Floral Cross onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloring it with Copic markers. There are also some extra floral clusters included in the set, but I didn’t use those here. I cut out the cross with the Coordinating Dies. Next, I spread Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste through a stencil onto pink cardstock and set it aside to dry. Once it was dry, the pink panel was adhered onto a panel of yellow cardstock, leaving a small amount of the yellow showing. The cross was adhered with foam adhesive. I stamped the greeting, also included in the Floral Cross set, onto yellow cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocture Ink and fussy cut around it. It was then adhered to pink cardstock and cut around once again. The greeting was popped up on the cross with foam tape. Lastly, a few Yellow Brick Road Confetti pieces were placed diagonally across the card.

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!!

Have a great weekend!!

Brenda
